Through these scholarships we seek to inspire and provide the opportunity for our students to leave home in search of a life experience that expands their horizons, makes them grow as people and helps them become global citizens who impact the world and their territories. To this end, through the DRI, UC Temuco makes available the annual call 2026 for the "Global Leaders Scholarship - Monsignor Jorge Hourton Poisson", through which an academic period in other foreign houses of study will be financed in specific agreement with the university.
Amount per selected student: USD $2,500 - USD $4,500
Application Requirements:
- Be a regular student of UC Temuco
- Have passed the second year of their program of studies in its entirety and not be in their last year of studies at the time of applying, with the exception of technical careers due to the nature of their programs of study.
- Have a cumulative weighted grade point average equal to or higher than 5.3 (five point three) or be within the top 10% of the grade point average of his/her cohort (submit Curriculum Advance and Undergraduate Ranking).
- Be up to date with the economic and administrative obligations contracted with the university, as well as with the university library.
- Not to have incurred in grounds for elimination or disciplinary sanctions at UC Temuco, before and during the scholarship process.
